AKIRA OVERDRIVE is a collaborative project designed to celebrate 30 years from Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira animation. The idea was to bring together 13 animation / motion design professionals to create 13 free pieces, using only the central theme as a guide. The animations did not need to follow any metric, nor were they required to obey pre-established aesthetics. The intention was for each artist to give its face to the project, with total freedom to use colors,textures, shapes and everything. With this, we convey the idea that despite the differences between all, there is a point that unites us: art.
